DSF has a diverse portfolio which offers the experience and ability to effectively manage unusual projects at a price usually associated with a ‘standard’ fit. Below are just a selection of projects:

PRIORY WINES is a new company selling fine wines, malt whiskys and continental beers. The general requirement was to provide an environment that complimented the quality and maturity of the wines and whisky. This was achieved by designing and manufacturing furniture in natural warm woods. The detailed company logo was carved into furniture. DSF provided maximum display area in a relatively small shop (the final displays allowed for over 1600 bottles, and that does not include the window display and wine chiller !)

DORSET’S PERFECT PARTY COMPANY is a new outlet based in Dorchester specializing in fancy dress clothes, balloon displays and everything you might need to make any occassion special. The main brief was to maximise available space and provide a comfortable area in which to browse through product catalogues.
DSF achieved this with wall-to-wall modular mirrored wardrobes and low profile fixtures.

CASH RECYCLE is a high street retail outlet specializing in pawn broking, money lending, cheque cashing and jewellery sales. DSF were commissioned to re-structure the Winton Branch in order to make money transactions more secure and provide a dedicated area for the ever increasing requirement of second user DVD sales. The solution was to reduce the shop floor area (allowing for greater stock control at the rear of the shop) and provide a security wall on 3 sides of the new layout. DSF have also refurbished Cash Recycle’s other shops in Eastleigh and Poole.

JACQUELINE’S is a part of West Country Wig Makers. They commissioned DSF to design and build a kiosk stand for a central aisle in the Dolphin Shopping Centre (Poole, Dorset) The design was refined and divided into 2 sections to comply with Centre regulations that allow for sufficient room during emergency evacuations. The requirement for the kiosk included storage space, display cabinets, lighting and a changing room. In addition to the lighting there was also a requirement to support a fire sprinkler system. The final solution was to use a chrome tubing frame which gave the kiosk shape and a structure from which to support the lights and water system.

STREETWISE is a safety awareness centre located in an industrial unit. The unit houses an indoor life-sized village, which is divided into various scenes’ including a High Street, House and Building Site. The latest scenario is a full size model train donated by Virgin Trains. DSF was tasked with building the scenario in 3 phases. The first was to cut the train horizontally in half in order to get it through the existing hanger doors. Once re-assembled, the second phase was to refurbished the train internally to make it visitor friendly and build a train platform. The final phase to build a tunnel and projection screens is now complete and photos will be published shortly..
